A promoter, dj, and most importanly avid music collector for 8 years and counting, lukewarm started out by establishing roots in one of Madison's unique musical venues, the Bluefin. While promoting multiple nights there, he is best known for founding Madison's longest running deep house weekly: Smooth Groove Tuesdays. As a host of a weekly radio show entitled, 'The Groove Movement' on Madison's student radio station, he was able to establish multiple residencies and appearences across the city of Madison. After moving to Milwaukee in 2004, lukewarm was able to find music salvation at The Highbury - a cozy soccer pub on the south side of Milwaukee in Bayview. He's been actively booking, promoting, and djing at the night for 2 years and counting and has made 'WiscoJazz Fridays' @ The Highbury one of the longest and strongest electronic weeklys in Milwaukee. Artists from all across the city, region, and country have graced the decks at the Highbury, while lukewarm continues to grow a dedicated fan base that flock towards the variety and creativity that has defined his sound as of late. While busy with the night, he still remains loyal to his love for the mixtape, carefully crafting all the sounds that inspire him to keep the beat going. |
