Since the mid 90's, Edd Reynolds has been mixing his own unique style of house music. Influenced by his weekly travels to Chicago to catch parties in his youth, Edd learned from some of the greats. Mimicking what he saw in the city, he brought the feelings & the music he loved into his makeshift recording studio. Crafting his art of blending and layering tracks, Edd learned a deep appreciation and respect for the music he plays. With patience and clarity, Edd prefers to let the tracks play themselves and stay "out of the way". "The music should be the focal point of what is happening, I can just help you hear it." Recently, Edd has spent much time producing and editing personal versions of his favorite tracks in order to bring you an even more unique take on the various genre's that he likes to spread. Attempting to cross the lines of house music and incorporate all music with soul, don't be surprised to hear funk, disco, reggae, downtempo, ambient, or hip-hop from this one of a kind act. With a monthly residency in the midwest for the last 3 years, Edd has appeared with such artists as Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, Mr. A.L.I., Peven Everett & Seance Divine, DJ Hyperactive, and many others. Founding WiscoJazz with partners Lukewarm and DJB was the next step in spreading the music he loves. Watch for a diverse array of new music of all flavors coming from Edd Reynolds. |
